Out and about with Kiwitex today, glad hes got a vehicle, looking for a church he wanted to photograph and he took me to this railway station at Waipara. I got completly lost in it and really had a great time photographing it. Thanks for taking me there Dave!!!

It got me thinking....

How many people had spent there last moments with there family before going overseas to fight in WW2, never to return to there family again and how many sad farewells or happy reunions had happened on this spot. Railway stations all over New Zealand in the rural areas are so similar but each has unique and interesting storys to tell, if only they could just talk..........
