somos aqui

well, here i am. in ecuador! my new home.

though it almost doesnt feel like im really here yet. as expected, the peace corps isn't exactly like your typical trip. since setting foot on ecuadorian soil, we've been bussed around and totally occupied. to where we're staying for a few nights and having our meals, to the training center where we spent all day in a sort of orientation (think forms, overload of information, immunizations, spanish testing, and lots and lots of introductions), then back to where we're staying.

tomorrow comes host families and actually getting out into this world - and boy am i excited!
