The Flatiron Building.

Back blipped.

Today was our last day in New York. :'( We had seen most of what we wanted to see, so headed for a walk downtown from Times Square, we ended up making another trip to Macy's, I bought my Mum a purse/wallet, then we headed across the road to Madison Square Garden, took a walk around, then headed towards Fifth Avenue, we did however take a little detour, a few blocks down as I wanted to see the flatiron building, as I'd seen it on tv and in movies so many times before. Gotta say it was pretty impressive, actually seeing it in real life. :D We then took a final trip up Fifth Avenue, stopping off in Baskin Robbins for some ice cream. We also took a trip into the Public Library, again we wanted to see it, as so many movies had been set inside it (Sex and the City and The Day After Tomorrow are a few examples). ;) We also took a trip to Bryant Park to see the ice rink.

We still had a few hours to kill before we had to catch the bus to the airport, so we decided to go to Madame Tussauds, it was so much fun getting pics taken with all of the "celebs". Harrison Ford an George Clooney were my personal favourites. ;) We then had one more meal in Bubba Gumps, before it was time to head for the bus. On the way however we did catch a glimpse of Justin Bieber going to his movie premier... That however was right before we had to leave. :(
