Blood

I haven't given blood for just over two years. Firstly due to illness & then due to 3 foreign holidays that all posed a malarial risk. However, my ban is lifted & I'm fit and well so I made a trip to the blood donor centre today.

As it's so long since I donated I've had to be counted as a 'returning donor' and have all the tests done before I can start platelet donation again.. Provided all these tests come back OK then I still have to have 1 further test before I can make a donation.
