Papa & Me

That bundle of cheeky chub is, in fact, me (granted, quite a few years ago!). And that wonderful man is my Papa :] or "Bobby" to his friends!

He's in hospital with an UTI at the moment, so I'm hopefully going to head up that way sometime soon to visit. Most of the wider family are spread all over the shot, so I figure that an hour or so in the bus is worth it!

On Wednesday I had my one-to-one with a lady from church, we do the study, wee Rory wakes up for play, her husband comes home & we make dinner, Rory goes to bed, we eat and then chat about whatever random topic we manage to make our way onto. Always a lovely evening :]

Rory's just turned one and is starting to slowly find his feet which is simultaneously super cute and incredibly amazing to get to watch!

Somehow we got onto the topic of 90s music - I think we'd been talking about the multiple uses of the tune "Londonderry Air" and then onto how All Saints' Never Ever is supposedly a slowed down version of Amazing Grace. Anyway, it came out that I really don't know all that 90s music and they decided to educate me by playing Ace of Base for the remainder of the night!
