Nick Bill

These may look like pretty average cuff-links, but this pair is actually one of my most valued possessions. This is because I bought them with one of my very good friends (and housemate!) Nick Bill. We each got a new pair of cufflinks because we had to SUIT UP for an awards evening.

Nick passed away a few years ago (aged just 21) and every time I see/wear these cuff-links I think about Nick and that awards evening. It's a memory that remains in my head as clear as if it happened yesterday, a memory that is renforced thanks to the fact that I have this physical link to that day.
