Twenty Today!

Today was the day that I entered my twenties! Mother nature gave me the gift of canceled classes as she sent a very wintry mix of snow and sleet to our area. I was then able to spend most of my birthday indoors, snuggling in bed :)

My twentieth year started, quite literally, with a bang! My friends surprised me at exactly midnight by banging on my door and trying to burst into the room..too bad my dad taught me that safety's always first and the door was locked! Throughout the day, I was greeted by the explosion of birthday, ie. balloons, a birthday banner, the pictured puffy-painted birthday sign, super adorable post-it notes, and a large paper 20 reminding me how old I am all hung up outside my door by the birthday fairy. All in all, it was quite a lovely birthday that ended with the gift of an elephant lamp. No joke. Once I assemble it, a picture will be posted :)
