Our water

At least it's two of the three waters around the house, the creek where it empties into Mobile Bay. A cold and gray day. The beach here is very dynamic, or so the US Army Corps of Engineers tells me. This is the winter confluence of creek and bay, the north is behind me in the shot, so the north wind has been depositing sand north of the creek mouth and pushing the mouth south. In the summer, the opposite will be true, and the creek will move north, with lots of sand to its south. It would be more naturally dynamic if the neighbors had not built a bulkhead and jetties, which interrupt the natural movement of the sand. People just will interfere.
