Thank goodness the sun was finally out. Sure, there was so much snow, and school wasn't even closed. But overall, it was a good day. I took this pic of my room. I have posters from SI Kids lining my walls. Here is Drew Brees. He's one of my favorite players because he's a warrior. After Hurricane Katrina rocked New Orleans, he came to the Saints and brought a toughness and compassion for the city that lifted the team and the community. When they won the Super Bowl last year, I was very happy for the Saints and for New Orleans.

I'm calling it here first: Packers 27 Steelers 24. Let's go.

On a side note, on my way home, the lady in front of my got stuck in the snow trying to make a left turn. At first, I tried to push her car. When that didn't work, I took my window scraper and began to desparately scrape the snow around her tires. There was so much, but little by little, I scraped into solid ground. Another guy came behind me, and he helped push and scrape, too. Eventually, two of my neighbors came, one with a shovel. It was teamwork at its finest hour. After shoveling enough snow out of the way, the four of us pushed. The woman finally was able to drive off and yelled a loud, grateful "thank you" in the dead of the night.

Ah, such are the moments. Such is the life.
