this is how it's gonna be
for over a year now, I've been on the 'pokey' drugs. it took 18 months of my specialist cajoling me into agreeing to take this stuff, whilst I tried every other route I could think of to try instead of it. i did ask if we could skip this drug and go onto the more targetted stuff - but there are rules ...... first I took it by mouth, then when my system decided it didn't much like that treatment enough to absorb what was needed, by injection. whenever they tried to crank up the dosage (forgive the pun), my liver decided it didn't like it much either. so, after a year of weekly blood tests, vomiting - and other things, feeling EXTREEEEMELY CRAPPY, having to miss doses then starting again from scratch, it's back to square one again. and the difference in my arthritis is ......... you can probably guess.
me and my liver have a specialist appointment tomorrow, where we hope to be told about plan b
