.....Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, rabbit.....
GUNG HEI FAAT CHOI!
Happy Chinese New Year! The year of the rabbit. Vicki pointed out tonight that our granchild and their's (due around the same time) would be Rabbit's according to the Chinese zodiac. She asked me if I knew what characteristics they would have because of this. Quick as a flash I gave her the answer...."They'll probably have lots of children!"
I don't believe in this horoscope stuff, least of all the Chinese one, ever since I discovered I'm a dog.....I mean come on!...me...a dog! A dragon at least surely!
Fun quiz night tonight , we had the £20 voucher for winning last week, so it was a cheap night. We could have won, we should have won, but we lost all our points in the wipe out round (get an answer wrong, lose all the points) because the Boss gave us the wrong answer to the question "William Shakespeare has no living direct descendants. True or False"
On the work front the pressure is building up again, the timetable for work experience is done, but it will definitely change again before I publish it tomorrow, I still have five sets of books to mark and now I have 70+ pieces of coursework to mark over half term. Still I might get a bit of extra non-contact time over the next two weeks so the marking should get knocked off without having to bring too much home.
Missed hebs at work today, like ships that crossed in the night, so I think I may need to call a meeting for 4.00 tomorrow.
My blood test to check for gout is booked for Feb 24th! My GP isn't convinced I've got it because my toe isn't swollen. I tried to explain how it was a couple of weeks ago, to no avail, but I stuck to my guns and insisted I wanted the test. So it's booked, I'll look a bit of a pillock if she's right and I haven't got it.
Shislivih Nohvigot!
Das vadanya until tomorrow.
Oh! The Shakespeare question, it's true!
