Peppered Pickles

This is not an advert, but just a note about an interesting local shop, Angela's Peppered Pickles. I first met Angela at our local farmer's market. She and her husband sell various pickled products prepared and produced locally. Her husband usually wears a t-shirt saying "I am not Angela". Angela uses old family recipes - pickled cucumbers, okra, peppers, and various other veggies.

Angela has done well, and now has her products in local stores, as well as her own little shop (pictured here) that is open all winter. Angela only uses home grown produce, so for example, if she is out of cukes, you must wait until spring for them to arrive on her shelves. Then they are plentiful.

Angela's peppered pickled products come in various strengths as indicated on her shop facade - mild, getting hotter, and hot. One would perhaps be prudent when possibly procuring peppered pickles not to purchase "Hot", just because they are popular. Please!
