This was meant to be an example of

resilience...it's a building site where old accomodation blocks are being knocked down and all the edging has been bulldozed. I was really struck by how this little shrub - or part of it - has remained and still bore berries. A little splash of colour amongst the huge machinery and bleakness of the site.

It's a super fast capture which doesn't work as the context isn't really clear but it's this or a picture of

a) a Cadbury's creme egg

b) a whisky mac.
