Traffic

Another late one at work today. One of those days where, fast as I sorted out one thing, six more came piling in. I've totally lost control of my email inbox - I really need to have a couple of hours doing nothing but filing and deleting.

I did get a few things off my desk that were stressing me out so that was good. Left the office about 7.25 pm thinking that at least I should have any easy run home - but promptly got stuck in traffic.

Nothing too drastic, I got moving again but what with kamikaze pedestrians, huge potholes in the road (come on Birmingham City Council, sort it out!) getting stuck behind 4 buses in a convoy in King's Heath and some temporary traffic lights nearer home, it felt like a never-ending journey!

Got home eventually, slumped in my chair, eating toast and watching Shrek the Third and slowly unwound...

Now my only problem is trying to winch myself up off the chair and getting upstairs to bed! And I'm going to count some blessings before I go to sleep, it's not a bad life at all, just a bit stressful now and then ;o)
