"Vous etes un bandit de derrier?"

Walking around Brussels on a crisp cold sunny day is an experience not to be missed. It really is the most beautiful city, and Neil proved quite the tour guide.

Highlights included stopping for a beer downtown, being mesmerised (and literally forgetting what I was talking about) by the town square, and stopping off at this excellent little fish-bar that hugged the corner of the road where we just stood and enjoyed a glass of wine with some fresh scampi, soaking up the atmosphere.

Later, a trip to L'Atelier which offered over 200 beers, a crowd of students, and a little bit too much smoke for my liking. Despite some top banter with Neil and his mate, events in Cairo were beginning to take over much of my attention.
