Run Aground

The tide was low again tonight, and I stopped by the California dock in North Bend to catch the evening light on the lumber yard. When I walked out far enough to catch the scene I originally stopped for I saw this oyster boat sitting on the bottom. It actually resonates with how I felt today - run aground with life and responsibility and stuck in the mud. At least the tide always comes back in to carry us out of our stuckness.
