Sunlight and Patterns

While a large portion of the United States is undergoing a major weather event, we are having fantastic blue skies, sunshine and cool wind from the east. I have been indoors most of the day, however, as the mild weather and sun has brought out the Spring Cleaning gene and I've been cleaning out drawers, washing woodwork, vacuuming, dusting, and in a little while, cooking. Another major appliance is coming tomorrow and that also facilitated my cleaning spree. Small laundry area is now spiffed up and ready for it's new addition. I hated to ask hubby, but the fridge needed to be pulled out so that it could be cleaned out behind and under that thing. That's kind of an ordeal because he pulls it out onto something, so the wheels won't scratch our floor. It did get accomplished, however, and it feels great to know that has been taken care of. As I look around I see many more projects that need doing. My computer room/office needs some work, too. Never ending chores. I'm not one that enjoys cleaning all that much, but it does give me a sense of accomplishment to have some of those things done. Then, of course, it will have to be done again...but I don't want to think about that.
