Abstract Eyes

Many of you may already know this face. To me she is my "go to" friend and the sister I never had. To you she is abstracteyes.

She is one to always lend smart and amazing advice. We met probably close to 15 years ago when she started dating her now husband who was a friend of my now husband and mine from highschool. Our friendship started out slow and has grown into a very close and special bond. When we met we were both young and carefree college students, now we are both mothers, firefighter wives and now through her expert example, huge encouragement and amazing support! Fellow blippers.

I know that I have much to live up to with her as my mentor. I will try hard and maybe someday I will get a "fancy camera" and give her a run for her money! But mostly it is fun to have yet another subject to chat about. I have always admired her passion for her art and now maybe I have started my own little hobby.

This morning I got a call from her suggesting a little starbucks and coffee talk. I said "come on over." Somewhere in our chit chat I decided I would pull on her what she always pulls on all that know her "you are going to be my blip today." Of course as comfortable as she is behind the camera, she is even more comfortable in front of it. One of our inside jokes has always been that she brings me "outside" of my box and I put her "inside"of hers. So here she is. Wish I could do her more justice. But maybe someday. So fun to finally blip her instead of being blipped myself.
