Dragon Fruit

I tried doing a collage for my 300th picture, same as I did for blips 100 and 200, but fell foul of a change in the rules that prevents me uploading a collage unless 'every element was photographed on the day'. So instead I went with this shot of a Dragon Fruit, which would have been my normal photo if it hadn't been the 300th. It took a little while to create the collage, so rather than waste that effort, I've stuck it on Flickr if anyone's particularly interested.

The Dragon Fruit was 99p from Lidl, last time I saw these on sale it was about £4 in a greengrocers. First time I've tried it. Seems somewhat like mango, but without one large stone in the middle, instead lots of little black seeds. Might try planting them to grow a cactus. Taste quite mild, a bit like mango, with a little bit of crunch thanks to all the seeds. Could be good in a smoothie. The skin peels off very easily.
