Geesey Ducks

I cycle past a river four days a week. Whilst I cycle along I say good morning to all the birds.

These chaps were new to the area so I had not chatted to them before. I thought they may have been rather new and special as I had not seen them before.

Later I found out that they are Eygptian Geese and are quite common. They are loud, considered pests and are actually ducks.

So much for discovering a new species then. Shame really as the TeamDel Duck has a nice ring to it I think.
