Faeries in the hallway

The cleaner normally comes on a Tuesday and would probably have hoovered these up but i am glad she didn't.

8.30am found me cycling miserably in the rain to uni but by the end of our long long gap the sun had come out and it was gorgeous and when i cycled in for the afternoon it was actually almost warm out there. How wonderful to feel the breeze running down your jacket and to not feel cold, how delicious to actually be able to feel some warmth from the sun on your face. I love days like this, when winter first allows you to believe that spring will come eventually and perhaps even summer after that... (if we're lucky).

I came home and the feathers were basking in the hazy sunshine in the corridor and i thought yes, that's what i shall photograph today. (I later found out their source, they came from Mel's slippers, she has duvet slippers.)

I couldn't decide between this one and this. In the end i went for this one because i love the way the rays of sun went purple.
