St George's Tower

Another grey old day.

I'm trying to be positive today (some days it's easier than others!).

a) I've had to make another trip to return something that wasn't what it said on the tin. (Speaker cable. Grrr!)
b) Care homes. Don't start me! But when the residents are afraid to complain in case their treatment is worse than before...
c) I've had lots of problems staying logged-in to blip. So, I haven't managed to comment as much as I would have liked. I'll keep trying!!!
and d) and e) !!!

So, this grey image is probably apt for how I felt today!
It's part of Oxford Castle. It was built in around 1071 for a Norman baron, Robert D'Oilly, to guard the north-west angle of the Castle (which later became a prison and is now a hotel and shopping centre).

Not a care home, despite how it looks and feels!

P.S. I'm sure that there are lots of good ones!
