"Northland Bush" - my recent purchase

Thought a blip of my new painting, purchased in Oamaru, might be a worthwhile blip today. It's oil on canvas and the colours are richer than represented in the photo.

It's actually a scene from North Island but it's very evocative of many of the scenes we've enjoyed over the past couple of weeks and when I saw it, I just felt I wanted to put it on a wall. Which one ... I don't know. In fact Jenny has said I may have to decorate a room to accommodate it - that's a bit devious I feel.
