I have only seen my boys fleetingly today and have come home late to find two little ones asleep. It is extra special giving them their goodnight kiss when I haven't really seen them and they are already asleep.

They seem softer than usual and they smell lovely.

It's amazing how quickly the rose-tinted effect creeps in when you get to miss out on the mayhem that is bedtime.

The one who always waits up is still awake. He comes down to have a nose at what i'm doing, he mentions making toast and then kidnaps the cat away upstairs with him.

In doing so, he has approved my photo.
