My House

Normally I would have asked one of the children to go and post the letter for me, but tonight I thought I'd go, and bring my camera with me. Never would have dreamt of doing that were it not for blip, but spend a fun few minutes snapping a night shot of our house, followed by a further few minutes a little while later after deciding I really couldn't live with the recycling bins in view, and the outside light not being on. Still wish I'd moved the vase on the window sill to the centre, but not sure I could risk a third attempt of crouching at the top of the neighbours' steps to get the perfect angle without attracting unwanted attention!
First time using a long exposure (night mode) with my little underwater camera, and I'm pretty pleased with the result, especially as I was only using the neighbours' handrail as a support. Oh to have a gorilla-pod like my siblings!
