angel

It's been an rather uninspiring day ? but what can one expect on a Monday in January when it's all grey and freezing cold outside.

I have this little angel sitting on my side table. I don't even recall where it came from. While photographing it I started thinking about angels and even looked up quotes. Usually I am not big on believing in God or angels for that matter. Although, I do have to admit that I have encountered a few situation where it was difficult not to believe in guardian angels.

I don't believe in angels, no. But I do have a wee parking angel. It's on my dashboard and you wind it up. The wings flap and it's supposed to give you a parking space. It's worked so far.

Nonetheless, I came up on this quite by Billy Connolly and for once it made me laugh but I guess I can say that I believe in angels the same way he does ? not really but then again, you never know ;)
