Toffee apples

My eldest daughter came back from her nan and granddads house on Saturday, with this library book and all of the ingredients needed to make toffee apples. Although the toffee apples look very tasty, neither one of my daughters could manage to eat them. I think we'll need industrial tools to break through that toffee!
