The Filmhouse at Night.

I love the Filmhouse, it has a real old school vintage charm about it (well except for the cafe - the food is good but its not really in keeping with the rest of the building, more like an office cafeteria - always find that a tad disappointing) and is by far one of the nicest places on Lothian Road (not hard...lol).

If only they'd preserved more of these buildings in the 50's and 60's instead of ripping everything down to make way for the most unattractive achitechture known to man, ho hum.

I was flat-hunting with my sister this morning and we found a lovely place in Polwarth that would really suit them. Nice and quiet, lots of space and with garden access for the Ginger Menace. We were there at the same time as another couple who clearly also wanted it and it became a competition as to who could get out of there and on the phone to the agency quick enough! We made it, deposit down, papers signed, yay!

Best of all its on a direct bus route from my flat, who could ask for more?
