Northern Delights

I have named this entry the same name as my blipfoto blog since I believe that it really encapsulates 'northern delights'. Yesterday we had planned to go ice skating on the lake, but it turned out that there wasn't actually a track plowed on the lake so we ended up 'hiking' across to a lone lighthouse about 1.5km from the shore and back again.

By the lighthouse we came across this skiier and his pack of dogs, pulling him and the sled along. They were beautiful and howling like wolves!!

Right place, right time.
