Tired.........

This boy is tired.

One of our inpatients, who has unfortunately been with us for a few days now due to an injury. He's a sweet cat, but I think he's getting depressed.
So we groom him and play with him every day, and his "parents" are coming in every day to see him, and he does tend to cheer up after a bit of a cuddle.

Hopefully things will start to improve for him soon, but sometimes it just needs time and nursing to bring animals through illness and injury.

I'm extremely lucky to have three great nurses working for me, who take great care of all the inpatients and really try to make them feel loved while they are in with us. It is important to an animal's healing process that they are as happy as possible, because if they are down they take much longer to get better.
