Chimneys

Bit of a late start and a quiet day in our household today after yesterday's Burns Supper. We eventually ventured out late afternoon for a walk and wandered through the narrow streets of Las Colonias, which Bb and I have both blipped before. It's a little 'complex' of small terraced houses which are being demolished and the owners being re-housed. So sad to see all these lovely little houses in different states of repair and some still occupied and others all bricked up. There were a few posters up with protest messages, but it's too far down the line for that and, understandably, the younger generation and modern family don't want to live in such tiny spaces with no modern facilities. At least the plan isn't to put up high flats but to turn the area into a square which everyone will benefit from.
