escape to the mountains

The city was again cold and damp, foggy and gray.... and we escaped to the nearest mountain for a day of skiing with friends. It was a beautiful day, blue sky and sunshine and we had great fun with great friends.

I don't ski myself anymore but loved watching my little angel fly down the slope with her friend. I watched her confidence with pride, and her happiness with joy.

It was a first for MJ, and she held her own on those funny things called skis... it was a wonderful day indeed.
