Corsehill, Dyce, Aberdeenshire

I've never been able to find out very much about this place, which lies just to the north of the B977 road at Parkhill, not far from the airport at Dyce.

I wonder how recent this building is - is it genuinely historic, or a 20th Century folly?

With its hilltop location, it reminds me (on a much smaller scale!) of the city of Carcassonne - or an Indian Hill Station from the days of the 'Raj'.
