Seeing through winter trees

Anyone how denies climate change because of the snowy east coast needs to come to the southwest. For the past few weeks it has been very warm and dry. The sky is beautiful as always. But now I am worried about fire season.

Hot air balloonists are taking advantage of the cold morning and clear calm skies. I caught this balloonist over Corrales on my way to the TV studio to host our monthly Science Cafe.
