A walk in the country

It was a lovely crisp afternoon so I decided to go for a walk over fields by our house. Whilst walking through a field of cows I made eye contact with this young lady -I quickly got a couple of shots before all the cows in the field started to advance on me! I am sure they were only being inquisitive but I wasn't going to hang around to find out and decided to run and they took chase (quite a scary moment) - I felt much happier once I managed to get a hedge between us!

I have just logged in to find out Jamie has photographed a similar subject (around a similar time too by the looks of it) - great minds think alike!
