with her new broken wrist, she fell on the ice a week past Thursday!

My brother and his wife were heading down for the weekend so they went a day early and supervised and made sure she was fine, as she was not keen to go back to theirs.

We went down this Friday to make sure she really was managing, with the intention of bundling her into the car to fetch her home here at the first sign of any bother! Had plans to get in masses of groceries and make stuff for her freezer, but I was stricken with a migraine on Saturday so spent the day lying in a darkened room...some help that was!

However it is her left wrist, and a simple break so she's doing well and feeling fine so we have left her be!

She has some lovely neighbours to keep an eye on her and has had many offers of lifts and assistance....just as we left two of her neighbours were popping in to see her!

This was a sneaky snap as she doesn't approve of photos of herself as she claims she always looks simple, so don't tell her you saw it!
