HAY MAKING

There was a brief window of light to get this pic this afternoon.

They are either old tractor seats, old horse drawn hay mowers or hay rake seats ... I incline to the latter!

One of my fondest memories as a boy growing up on our farms in Scotland, was sitting behind big old hand built stone walls ( we called them dykes listening to the wind blowing over the hay meadows and hearing - but never quite seeing - the skylarks hovering high above, in the azure blue of a summers day ......
