Dunnock

This is the first time that I've got a half-decent photo of a dunnock. He was rooting around in the dead leaves on the flower-bed, and then jumped on to the foot of the lilac tree, just long enough for me to take this photo. (I was using the car, parked alongside, as a bird-hide. Not bad taken through glass, I thought.) And it had to be a bird today, RSPB bird-count weekend.
