Seaside inside

A jar of seashells that I've picked up over several visits to the beach and, for some reason, dropped into this jar and kept.

The smell of the sea has faded over time but one of the lovely things about living in Norwich is that the sea is only about 40 minutes away by car or about an hour by train.

And one of the lovely things about my job is that on Thursday of this coming week I get to go and do some proof-reading at the house (shed, actually) of a colleague who lives on the coast.
