Commuting in the Mennonite way
We took a ride this weekend in the car to Mennonite country to the Waterloo Market in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area. Some light snow squalls but otherwise not too bad. Lots of yummy and artistic things. Got some beef jerky, Mennonite: salami, cheese, Danishes, cheese tea biscuits, and cabbage rolls. And a cherry strudel. Drove back through Guelph and also bought 168 cans of cat food a few places. It was on sale. Great buy. Sun came out on the way home and it was a lovely afternoon. On the way we saw four wild turkeys feeding about 3 metres from the highway. Unusually, close. Worth blipping, but too dangerous re traffic. Swung through Orangeville were Edward blipped a most unusual airplane.
