leaving home.

i'm not one that is always excited to leave the house for long periods of time by myself.
in that sense, i'm pretty cowardly.

there are often times when i feel obligated to check up on my family after blowing them off for a few days, if not all of them then at least my mom. being one of much paranoia, i like making sure that everything's alright.
even if i'm excited to go on the trip or to get away from the reality i face in the household, i still worry. i still look back.

will it be even harder once college comes around?
