Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. Today it was celebrated in Oakland with this street festival. San Francisco Public Schools are closed on February 3 for Lunar New Year, and San Francisco's celebrations are next weekend, I think.

It's raining this weekend, but we did get a hike in. I had some droplet shots that I almost blipped, but I'm trying to get more comfortable blipping people, so I blipped the street fair.
