Introducing Ruby Jane and our new camera

Yeay!!! Our new Canon DSLR was delivered this morning and we haven't stopped playing with it since!

We went to my sister's for tea and spent all evening trying to capture that perfect shot of our niece, this one was taken just after she had been woken up for feeding and changing and was the only smile of the night! Following this there were a series of shots where her face went from upset, to screaming, to distraught and back to upset all because she wanted some food!

Amy and I have our day planned out tomorrow around playing with the camera further and starting to use some of the myriad of functions and settings, of which we have no idea what they do ... the results might be interesting.
