Gingerbread soldiers

Dear Heart,
We saw Tangled in the cinema today. It was wonderful! I love going to the cinema - the experience of leaving your own world and entering that of another, weeping in the dark for someone else's creations, sitting next to a stranger for hours and not caring... Escapism at it's finest, and a place where the forgotten can forget.
Tomorrow I go back to university, to an immersion of an entirely different kind. But before then I have to survive Kids' Church - we're making Shaun the Sheep and edible shepherds (hence the Gingerbread Army). I applaud Mamma Mia's endless creativity, but I wish our gingerbread soldiers could really protect us tomorrow.
