Peeling paint

Couldn't do this in oil paint if I tried but nature manages beautifully. This is a gate post at our 'new' old house. Wonderful colour combinations of peeling paint, wood and moss. When I visited this morning, the electrician was hard at work and there were signs that the builders had made progress with damp proofing - but it still looks daunting.
