Death of the Fairies

This was how I came upon the Fairies this morning. I think the fact that only one survives in the upright position with a red and white toadstool in her hand gives the game away as a who done it. I'm really hoping that this is just my horrible adult imagination and not the actual game that was being played when it was abandoned.
