Duck feeding gone wrong!

Took youngest son (2) to feed the ducks this morning at Fleet pond while his brother was at a party. Had thought I'd get some good macro shots of geese or ducks and it started off ok with lots of ducks, a couple of coots and a goose.
But then out of nowhere all these swans appeared, they came round the corner 1 by 1 in a huge long line and came out the water for bread.
They got very close and I had to scoop up Andrew (they were bigger than him) and retreat a bit. Then a bit more, and a bit more! I tried to get some photos but it wasn't easy with a toddler under my arm and a full sized baby swan trying to eat us. And annoyingly they don't even look scary in this photo! Another 1 I took had 2 swans attacking each other in it! We started by the water and ended up quite a bit back from where we were in this photo on a road!
The swans took about 10 minutes to start to retreat and we only got the scooter back with the help of a man who braved the pack and moved it to a bit of path we could get to by scrambling through some bushes!
