Frozen pond

The last few days it has been freezing and so the pond at the end of our street is frozen again. I was late back from work today so had few time to make some photographs. Therefore i went to the pond and experimented somewhat with aperture setting and shutter speed. This is one of the photo's. There is a red glow on this photo that makes it a little bit like a painting, which i like. Don't know where these red spots come from though. Maybe some of you can tell me? Is it a kind of reflection?
