so, i managed to get into the country today by convincing the immigration officer that my employment permit is ready and waiting at the immigration office (which it is). i?ve now got 3 days to report to the immigration officer otherwise i will be rendered a ?prohibited immigrant?. sounds quite fun actually.

but now it?s the weekend so I can?t a) insure my car or b) drive to the immigration office. this gives me only monday to pick up my car, get it insured and taxed then go and hand myself in to immigration. those tasks would be simple if it wasn?t flippin africa!

and, it?s cold!
