pampas grass

I like pampas grass. I like the fluffiness of the "flowerhead". The colour and the contrast you get when the sun shines on it against a blue sky.
The one in our garden is still looking rather magnificent, for now. I know for a fact that it will soon be reduced to mere spikes, empty of all seed heads, as nest building birds pick them bare. but for now, the wave in the wind to me and all other by passers.
